Yesterday, students at Snyder Intermediate School had a unique opportunity to hear first-hand experiences from Snyder High School students about their cultural heritage.
Snyder High School foreign exchange students Hiroto Hayakawa from Japan and
Johanna Loffler from Germany gave students a glimpse into their life in their home countries. Fiona Jazexhiu, whose father grew up in Albania, shared traditions and insight about her family’s heritage. Based on the 4th and 5th-grade students’ excellent questions, they were intrigued by their way of life!
It’s an excellent reminder to take the time to learn more about other people, cultures, and backgrounds!
