SISD will host 2 STAAR Camp days during the month of February. If your student is a current 3rd-12th grader and is required to attend the STAAR Camp, you should have received an invitation in the mail. Students that did not receive an invitation will not attend school on STAAR Camp days. Please direct your questions and concerns to your student's campus administrators. *Busses will run as usual. *ACE- There will be no AM or PM ACE at SPS SJHS and SIS will have normal AM & PM ACE *SHS will have CLOSED CAMPUS! Several parents have expressed their concerns in regards to the recent flu epidemic. Please take a few minutes to review the information provided by the SISD nursing staff. How does the flu spread? What are the symptoms? How can I protect my child? These are just a few of the questions answered in the attached article. Your student's well-being is a top priority at SISD. We hope you have had a fantastic three day weekend! All campuses will resume regular schedules on Tuesday, Jan. 16th. Although some schools across Texas have already deemed it necessary to delay or canceledl classes, SISD has not been effected by the severe winter weather. In the event that a delay or cancelation occurs, SISD will make that announcement on the SISD FB, SISD Website, SISD Twitter and local radio stations on the day of the cancellation. A skylert will also be sent to all SISD student households. If you have changed your contact information, please notify your student's campus (asap) during school hours.
