Snyder ISD superintendent poses with boys in little league uniforms on baseball field

Snyder ISD Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Bob Rauch, threw out the first pitch during the Snyder Little League Opening Weekend.  Mr. Rauch played baseball at the collegiate level beginning at Mesa Community College and then at Lamar University, after earning a full scholarship to play shortstop.  In 1995, he was selected in the Major League Draft by the Boston Red Sox as a relief pitcher.

We hope all of the young-student athletes had a fun weekend of baseball!
