This afternoon, Snyder ISD Bus 4 reportedly hit a dip in the road while transporting students home from summer school. Some students were injured and those parents were contacted directly. The district sent a direct message and called the remaining parents and guardians of the students who were on the bus at the time of the incident. While no other injuries were identified at the time, we advised parents to monitor their children closely and consult their physician with any concerns. In the event of an emergency, seek medical care immediately.
The safety of our students and our staff is paramount. We are investigating the incident and are communicating with the local sheriff’s office. If a parent or legal guardian has questions or seeks medical attention for their child, please contact the district administration office at 325-574-8900.
