Pre-K for ALL!

Snyder ISD is excited to announce that beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, Pre-K will be available to all 4-year-old children, regardless of income or qualifying status.

In recent years,  Pre-K enrollment at Snyder ISD was limited to students who met the Texas Education Agency (TEA) eligibility criteria, which included being educationally disadvantaged, homeless, or having a parent serving in the military. Children of Snyder ISD employees were also eligible. With this expansion, any child who turns four on or before September 1, 2025, will now be eligible to attend the district’s Pre-K program.

“Early childhood education has an impact that can last a lifetime,” said Superintendent Bob Rauch. “By expanding access to Pre-K, we’re giving all children in Snyder a strong start—academically, socially, and emotionally.”

Snyder ISD’s Pre-K program offers a nurturing, engaging environment focused on developing early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills. Certified teachers use developmentally appropriate practices and high-quality instructional materials aligned with the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.

Families interested in enrolling their child in the 2025–2026 Pre-K program are encouraged to complete the online pre-registration form available at www.snyderisd.net/welcome or contact Snyder Primary School at 325-574-8600 for more information.

Enrollment is now open!
