Dr. Aguirre

SNYDER, TX – Snyder ISD is pleased to announce that Dr. Jeremy Aguirre has been selected as the new Principal of Snyder Primary School.

Dr. Aguirre joined Snyder ISD in January 2025. While he originally applied for a campus leadership position, his extensive administrative background made him a strong fit for the Director of Human Resources role. During that time, he quickly became a valued member of the district leadership team.

With nearly 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, coach, and campus administrator, Dr. Aguirre brings a deep understanding of instructional leadership along with a strong commitment to supporting teachers and students.

“Dr. Aguirre has already established strong relationships across the district with his thoughtful leadership and genuine approach,” said Superintendent Bob Rauch. “He knows the strengths of the campus, understands its challenges, and brings the experience, focus, and energy needed to lead with purpose.”

Dr. Aguirre holds a doctorate in educational leadership and a master’s degree in educational administration. He previously served as a campus administrator at Highland Middle School in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD and has taught students from Pre-K through high school biology. His background also includes coaching at both the middle and high school levels.

His selection was a unanimous decision by the interview committee, who agreed that he is the right person to lead Snyder Primary into its next chapter. Dr. Aguirre has already begun the transition into the role so we can gear up for a strong start to the school year.

Dr. Aguirre and his family have already become an important part of the Snyder community. His wife, Amy Aguirre, serves as a PPCD teacher with Snyder ISD, and their son Evan will be a junior at Snyder High School this fall. Their older son, Ethan, is currently attending college.

Please join Snyder ISD in welcoming Dr. Aguirre into his new role as Principal of Snyder Primary School.
